Solo Projects

Android Run

Android Run is a first person parkour game about an android who is awakened by a powerful AI in humanity's distant future.

This 14-week project was my most ambitious as a student and represents the first time I tried to create a more polished product, rather than a rough prototype. My focus for the project was user experience.

Fairport

Fairport is a text-based stat management game about leading the fantasy city of Fairport during a time of crisis.

This 6-week project was designed with lower technical scope to allow me the freedom to create the content necessary to maximize player choice and consequence. It was my fifth project in Unity.

My Name is Ruby

My Name is Ruby is a first person narrative game about a courier whose ship malfunctions while on a deliver mission through uninhabited space. In order to survive, the player must replace the ship's CPU with the experimental AI core they were paid to transport. The focus of this project was Fellowship.

This 6-week project was the first time I tried mixing dialog with other gameplay modes and my fourth project in Unity.

My Liege

My Liege is a short first person role-playing game about being the Monarch of Spherica. Make choices and lead your kingdom to greatness! The focus of this project was Fantasy.

This 4-week project was my first foray into dialog trees and my third project in Unity.

Landwich

Landwich is an absurdist first person game about making a sandwich while falling to your death. The focus of this project was Sensation.

This 4-week project was my first time working with UI tutorialization and my second project in Unity.

Corridors

Corridors is an abstract first person puzzle game about navigating a maze that's more than it seems. The focus of this project was Discovery.

This 4-week project was my first time working in Unity, my first time designing a 3D space (I was particularly excited to work with impossible spaces), and my first time scripting a first person character controller.

Graviator

Graviator is a simple 2D arena fighting game where players must contend with erratically changing gravity conditions. The focus of this project was Competition.

This 4-week project remains the only digital game I have designed for local multiplayer.

Reflector

Reflector is an abstract 2D puzzle game about redirecting lasers. The focus of the project was Challenge.

This 4-week project was my first experience with puzzle design.

I am still working on capturing my older projects. Check back later for more content!
